Ibrahim Al-Shatali is a researcher and social activist born in Gaza city 1979 from a refugee family from the Palestinian city of Al-Majdal in southern Palestine. Ibrahim believes in social justice and love, he is keen on working with all people without discrimination. He has numerous work papers and research on Palestinian and Arab youth action. Ibrahim actively participated in several local, regional and international conferences, and along with colleagues, he has led and participated in many community initiatives.

Ibrahim is currently working for an International organization, but has been active in many local Palestinian civil society organizations. He is on the board of directors of MA’AN Development Centre as treasurer since 2012 till present. In 2008 he chaired the board of directors of Ajyal Association for Creativity and Development for four years. He was also a board member at the General Union for Cultural Centers from 2012 till 2013. He volunteered as a member in the general assembly for the Institute of Civil Society Studies (Civitas) since 2010 till present, and Sharek Youth Forum for one year in 2010.

Ibrahim studied Sociology at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and has a diploma in Management of Civil Society Organizations from the School of Continuing Education of the Islamic University in Gaza.
